Work Package 2 (WP2) is now complete! This phase focused on research to understand how ESG topics and AI tools are currently integrated into higher education across our five partner countries.

Through desk research, surveys, and focus groups, we discovered that ESG topics are often included only as electives, and that AI tools are rarely used in a structured way. Educators report a need for more support and training, while students express high interest in both themes.

These findings form the foundation of GenESG’s next phase, where we will deliver practical teaching materials, digital tools, and microlearning modules to close the gap between interest and implementation.
