In GenESG, we’re building our curriculum using microlearning—but what does that mean?
Microlearning breaks down complex topics into bite-sized, focused lessons, usually lasting 5–10 minutes. It’s ideal for:
- Busy students and teachers
- Digital and mobile learning environments
- Building knowledge in steps, not all at once
For example, instead of a 2-hour lecture on green bonds, students might complete:
- A 7-minute video on the basics
- A quick quiz
- A chatbot-guided case study
Research shows microlearning increases retention, motivation, and flexibility. That’s why we’re embedding it across our sustainable finance course materials—supported by GenAI to deliver personalized, just-in-time learning.
